We carry a wide selection of chains used for securing heavy loads during transport along with the binders used to tighten the chains to ensure your load is secure before heading down the road. These are available in a number of different sizes and strengths which can be used for everything from hauling construction equipment to specialty manufacturing components, and any other large load in need of stabilizing. While you will definitely want to use these on loads that are top heavy, it is a good idea to use these chains on all loads to keep them from shifting during transport.
We stock a full line of grade 70, grade 80, and grade 100 binder chains as well as the actual binder units. The chain binder units are available in both ratcheting and lever style models which can accommodate all of the different sized binder chains we carry. These are the best type of products to use for securing your heavy loads and with the binder units you can ensure that the chains are tight enough to keep any load from shifting or bouncing during transport.
The grade 70 binder chains are available in the following sizes: 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2". They are available in lengths of 10', 16', and 20'. The following is the working load limit of each size of grade 70 chains: 5/16" = 4,700 pounds, 3/8" = 6,600 pounds, and 1/2" = 11,300 pounds.
Grade 80 binder chains are available in sizes of 3/8" with a working load limit of 7,100 pounds and 1/ 2" with a working load limit of 12,000 pounds. These models are available in standard lengths of 10', 16', and 20'.
Our grade 100 binder chains come in sizes of 3/8" with a working load limit of 8,800 pounds and 1/2" with a working load limit of 15,000 pounds. These models come in lengths of 10', 16', and 20'.
While these chains are all extremely durable and rugged, they are not approved for and should not be used for overhead lifting tasks.
