Eye and eye configurations let you choose the nylon strap you need with a simple two-step process. Choose the weight limit and ply and then determine the length. The same system is used to select the nylon lifting straps made in the endless configuration. Both are available in your choice of one- or two- ply styles. Those made in the endless configuration provide superior wear resistance by creating different contact points each time they are used. Load distribution is also altered each time they are used so that these slings last longer than eye and eye models with similar configurations. In addition, the material which handles the load is covered by a protective covering sleeve so that it is not exposed on these models. This also reduces the amount of wear to the endless model nylon webbing straps.
Eye and eye lifting slings in the 2-ply models can be purchased in sizes from 1-inch to 4-inches in width and lengths of 8 to 30 feet. For rigging with a basket style hitch, the eye and eye sling in a 4-inch wide, two-ply model offers a working load limit of 22,000lbs. On the other hand, the 4-inch wide, single-ply eye and eye model offers a rating of 12,400 working load limit when it is rigged with a basket style hitch. Finding the right nylon lifting strap combination for your application is easy with our wide selection. We have the products that you need for lifting moderate to extremely heavy loads.
